Lady Bug Wrist Purse

I am working on a lady bug wrist purse.  Almost done.  Need to add the eyes and spots and attach antennas.  Found this cutie on the net and was so happy to see it a free pattern.

Been sick with head cold for last week so not much going on.  Starting to feel a little better so hoping to get back to crocheting and finishing up some WIP.

Hello Kitty Scarf

This is actually my 2nd attempt of making a scarf with Hello Kitty on it.  I will have to get pictures of the first one up.  This one is pretty finished.  I am just unsure about the backside.  Should I cover it?  I also think a round of single crochet to help hold down the curling.  1st picture shows the WIP.

Finished project.

Youngest daughter being my model.  :)  Teenager with phone attached to ear.  LOL

Close up showing the curl.

Here is the backside.

The Pumpkin

I never thought I would beable to finish this little guy.  But the wonderful people at Ravelry where so helpful and got me threw the pattern step by step.
This is a free pattern from FiberDoodle.  She has some awesome work on her website.

Hello Kitty

Hello Kitty!

Well she is not finished, but I am gonna undo her head and add more stuffing and want to find some nice eyes and a nose. I have tried crocheting the eye and nose but that is just not turning out like I want.
But for my first, well not first stuffed crochet animal, I had crocheted a bunny way back when. Will have to find and post picture. My 1st Hello Kitty turned out pretty cute.

An Apple a Day Keeps the Doctor Away!

An Apple a Day Keeps the Doctor Away!

Now this is the 2nd attempt. I had finished it, but I was not too crazy about my the big holes that where created when I decreased. I frogged it and started over but had learned of a great way to decrease but make the big hole disappear. Will share that secret in few. This pattern if from Lion Brand and it is free. I did not care for the stem as they showed it, so I used another pattern for that. PlanetJune has some awesome tips and some great free patterns.
